This house in Ilhabela occupies a linear lot facing the sea, taking advantage of a steep slope. Access from the street, 10 meters above sea level, determined the vertical zoning of the project: arrival is via the upper floor, reserved for the bedrooms, while the lower level houses the social areas. This opens onto the swimming pool, located at a slightly lower level than the living room, from where a new natural slope creates a transition to the beach. The project adopts a glued laminated timber (GLT) structure, a strategic choice that speeds up assembly on a logistically complex lot and reinforces the sustainable character of the construction.
