In the heart of Jardim Paulistano, São Paulo, the client acquired an adjacent lot to expand the service areas of their residence. The new annex was to house a garage, laundry room, staff quarters, and an elevator to ensure accessibility to the main house. As a solution, the project proposes two metal beams that span the lot from one side boundary to the other, supporting the upper volume—also metallic—and completely freeing up the ground floor for parking. The upper block was enclosed with Hunter Douglas perforated sheets in yellow, giving a contemporary character to an essentially mundane program.Team: Ana Terra Capobianco and Fernanda Neiva (authors), André Brás and Lucas Leite (team)
