Cachagua House

Located in Cachagua, on the central coast of Chile, this project was conceived as a summer house for a large family based in Santiago. The main premise demanded spaces with maximum integration in the social area, capable of comfortably accommodating a large flow of people. Structurally, a mixed system was adopted: metal pillars on the ground floor and glued laminated timber (GLT) on the upper level. As a cladding, the facade takes advantage of copper, a material emblematic of the region's identity and landscape.
