A bond of friendship among four women—the owner and the three architects—seals the design of this house, which presents itself to the street with a large lace-like facade.

Casa Renda explores a subtle transition between indoors and outdoors, treating exterior and interior spaces with a fluid integration of their boundaries. This is achieved through visual permeability, via the hollow elements, the window frames, and the continuity of materials across all environments, as well as the choice of a single-story layout arranged around a central garden. The architectural program is organized around the large social space of the living areas, featuring an integrated veranda and kitchen. The service areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms are positioned to ensure privacy. From the central garden, there is access to the rooftop, utilizing an area equivalent to the lower built footprint for leisure on the upper, sunny, and airy level.

Concrete is the predominant material: applied in the exposed cast-in-place structure, the cement tile flooring, the countertops, and the prefabricated panels that make up the facade's lace. This standout element of the project features a subtle and delicate design, materializing both strength and durability.
